The NOMAD is the embodiment of this continued pursuit to stay in touch with the other AOs and nurture relationships while building others. This is an exciting time for our region, we are growing quickly. What better way to experience the full breadth and impact of it then by getting out there and engaging it.
Post for a full week of offered AOs during the calendar year at the following weekly AO locations (in any order):
At the end of the first annual completion PAX will sign the challenge board and receive a sticker with your year of NOMAD completion on it (ex: 2021).
PAX will only sign the board once, but the stickers will be updated annually each calendar year to encourage continued participation.
PAX can use this as the opportunity to complete the Megalodon, MonTugaThunderRay, and maybe even the OAR itself…but most importantly, use it as a way to check in with your fellow PAX and support each other!
It's like PAX running around town playing capture the flag as part of our adult recess.
Ghost flag can only be claimed if a visiting AO has a minimum of 5 pax at the AO who possesses the flag.
A stealing AO cannot neglect their AO on the day of the stealing. Q must still show up and lead. This is for the sake of any FNGs.
If two or more visiting AOs show up to steal the flag, the AO with the most Pax wins the flag.
If two stealing AOs have an equal number of Pax, the Q of the AO where the flag is being stolen from chooses a challenge, such as 1 minute burpee off.
No minimum length of stay at an AO before Ghost Flag can be stolen.
PAX from the AO that has possession of the ghost flag must send out a message on the F3 social media of your choosing (Slack / Twitter / etc..) where the flag will be the next day. This is for the sake of those AOs who only meet one or two times per week.
Example: AO which has the flag only meets on Monday and Wednesday. AO can announce that flag will be flying at (wherever) Tuesday AO. Home Tuesday AO is not eligible to steal the flag, but any other AO can show up to steal.
**Note** This means that just because your AO only meets on one day a week is no excuse that the ghost flag is not posted with a PAX at an AO. That flag should be displayed proudly every day. If your AO only meets once a week and you stole the ghost flag, someone needs to get that ghost flag to an AO every single day.
Oh – and not to forget…. If an AO successfully steals the Ghost Flag from an AO where the flag was not present (and should have been), the successful AO can choose an “exercise punishment” for the Site Q and/or resident PAX to perform during their next workout.
3 PAX from one AO (w/ the flag) form a “Search Party” and post at another AO. Once that AO gets “spotted” & has the Bigfoot flag planted, all PAX in attendance must complete an extra 30 Burpees prior the start of that gloom’s workout (preferably after warmorama).
The Bigfoot flag remains at the AO, where before every workout each PAX completes 30 burpees until the a new “Search Party” is created and the flag is replanted at another AO!
To plant the Bigfoot flag you must have minimum 3 PAX from your AO in attendance.
The Bigfoot flag remains at the AO until a new “search party” takes it to another AO.
While the flag remains at the AO, an additional 30 burpees must be completed at the beginning of every workout.
If no Search Party is created for the following post- (i.e. you don’t get 3 PAX together to replant the flag the following workout day)- the AO is responsible for flying the Flag the next workout day.
A “Search Party” AO cannot neglect their AO on the day of the planting. Q must still show up and lead. This is for the sake of any FNGs.
PAX from the “Search Party” AO that have planted the Bigfoot Flag must send out a message on slack notifying where the Bigfoot flag has been spotted.
QIC and Site Qs are asked to honor the spirit of the challenge and ensure the Burpees are completed and that the Bigfoot Flag remains moving and planted.
PAX In charge: Steel Plates
