Born in the head of a sick and twisted ultra-runner, and forged on the gnarly sandy paths of the Carolina Beach State Park, Chasing the Chupacabra is a LAST MAN STANDING fitness event that tests one's limits and brings men together.
The first running in 2021 saw over 30 PAX support each other to many personal bests and crowned one of Cape Fear's studliest studs, Kix, who won the race with 18 laps. This year a ruck option has been added for the clydesdales.
What: Last man standing race. Every hour on the hour we start a new lap. If you are not there when the lap starts, you're out. The champion is the last man standing.
Why: To test your limits and have fun. We are also raising money for our College Scholarship Fund.
