It was raining so we started out under the restaurant awning and warmed up. However, Hammer Head was slacking in the exercises and checking out the LED lights wrapped around the palm trees.

After warm up we moseyed to different stations to stay dry. However, Cookie would workout on the sidewalks so he could continuously wash the germs off his hands.

We did 10 burpees at station 1. Then 10 burpees and 25 merkins at station 2. Then 10 burpees, 25 Merkins, 50 big boy sit ups at station 3. 10 Burpee, 25 Merkins, 50 big boy sit ups , and 75 squats at station 4. Made it back to AO and finished with 100 high knees.

It was not, as the AO would lead you to believe, cool this AM. I think I starting sweating the minute I stepped onto my back porch. It was, however, runnings. I had not exactly decided what route I wanted to use, but I really appreciate variety and sometimes you have just got to be the Q if you want to be the decider. Am I right? Yes, because I am the Q. We did some warming of our ramas and then proceeded toward the Long Leaf Hills cut through towards the Muni. We proceeded straight through the Muni to Oleander and crossed up to Wallace towards campus and in the new Quad. Map below. It was a great route, promise. The only thing that made it better was the fact that I had the PAX do a run-by of the parking deck and then made us enter the far stairs to climb to the top, reverse directions, and then back down the stairs to continue the route. We did find a nice steady breeze up there though. We made it back in five pieces. Had an encouraging COT and the crème de la crème continued the F2 and F3 at Holy Crêpes.

Ten PAX ran and two PAX rucked at Run, Gump. Run! this morning. Since I was stretching on the ground and I was the Q and it turned 0530 while I was still on the ground stretching, we started out Warmorama on our six with some torsional oblique and lumbar loosening. Eventually, we made it back to our feet to finish the warmup, but did NOT do side-straddle hop. Just saying. Runners (as God intended) ran from the AO over to the Cross-City tail at Randall and proceeded to run towards Randall Lake and to the Rainbow Bridge by Flying Machine. Morpheus was full of joy and puppy dogs and unicorns. Once we arrived, in order to allow him to express those sensations, he lead us in some exercise on the aforementioned bridge as the droplets of contentment poured off our bodies. At some point, I paused my watch there and did not notice until I tell you about it later. We proceeded up the path and the slight hill where I encouraged the PAX to push the pace up the hill to which Jingle at least obliged. We took a left down Winston and ran the straight-away (very close to @fullerbrush) but he was probably still asleep in bed...or surfing. Unbeknownst to more of the PAX, we ran within about 75 feet of my bed, but I was too slipperly by that point to have been able to slink back under the covers. After we took a right on Hoggard back toward campus and neared Kerr (pronounced like the former Bulls point guard and now Olympic Head Coach) I realized that I had paused my watch and RUINED my run! Or maybe my run was the same, but I just happened to not have every second of it recorded and tracked and itemized. Maybe Jennay knows. Either way, we cut through the secret woods and @jingle stopped for some more Taco Bell or maybe it was @pixel pusher and Skeeter. Eventually, we made it back to the AO...a tad later than planned, but the diligent ruckers were just STANDING AROUND not getting work done, but patiently waiting for us. Which was nice. The full loop was about 4.6 miles, but you would not know it from my route. Prayers were said and announcements were made and COT was completed. You had to be there. All the greats went to Round for some life-changing Coffeteria.
