Who is this for?
To spotlight our very own Goat as he fights ALS and to support the efforts to find a cure.

What is ALS?
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as motor neurone disease (MND) or Lou Gehrig's disease in the United States, is a rare neurodegenerative disease that results in the progressive loss of motor neurons that control voluntary muscles.

What is “The Goat?”
A 13 mile ruck with 30 pound packs visiting The Goats old stomping ground’s and carrying a few coupons to represent the burden that this great HIM is also burdening. We will start at Long Leaf Park at 7:00am for a short beat down. We will then ruck to Wrightsville Beach Park for a short beatdown . Then we’ll head to Ogden Park for the patching by The Goat himself as well as celebratory Goat brewed beer! Along the way we just may see some of The Goats finest rides as he meets us at his stomping grounds to root us on!

The Cause:
$20.00 is the asked donation which will go to the ALS Association to help fund their continued efforts to find a cure! Venmo funds to: Sean-Dwyer-83.

When is this?
April 27, 2024 starting at 7:00am at Long Leaf Park by the restrooms where the LLP workouts always start. Song up here even if you can’t come and want to donate to the cause!

Invigorating male community leadership across Cape Fear
Fitness

The body is made to be used. Without work, it withers. But with regular training, we can become physically, psychologically, and emotionally durable.

Fellowship

We are not supposed to live alone. Life is not worthwhile without being in communion with others. We find strength in numbers for accountability and encouragement.

Faith

We are part of something much bigger than ourselves. Our personal strength can be a strength for others, and a force to help our family and community thrive.
